ISLAMABAD : The IRSA on Wednesday released 331,277 cusecs water for various rim stations with inflow of 440,115 cusecs. According to the data released by IRSA, water level in the Indus River at Tarbela Dam was 1511.66 feet, which was 133.66 feet higher than its dead level of 1378 feet. Water inflow in the dam was recorded as 243,900 cusecs with outflow 185,000 cusecs. The water level in the Jhelum River at Mangla Dam was 1195.50 feet, which was 155.50 feet higher than its dead level of 1040 feet.
whereas the inflow and outflow of water was recorded as 64,938 cusecs and 15,000 cusecs respectively. The release of water at Kalabagh, Taunsa and Sukkur was recorded as 259,212, 211,114 and 121,400 cusecs respectively.
Similarly, from the Kabul River a total of 58,700 cusecs of water was released at Nowshera and 72,577 cusecs released from the Chenab River at Marala.
